Why the Bulls got crushed by the Warriors
Nikola Vucevic's absence was felt on the offensive end
The big takeaway for me in the Bulls losing by 26 to the Warriors was how much they were missing Nikola Vucevic. He obviously hasn’t shot the ball particularly well, but he was a great release valve as a passer when teams ramped up the pressure on LaVine.
Vucevic’s replacements weren’t cutting it in those same short roll situations. LaVine was making the right passes when the Warriors were using very aggressive coverages against him, but his teammates weren’t skilled enough to capitalize.
